Logan's 3rd Birthday!
Logan woke up to his first present and lots of fun balloons. We then went and ate breakfast with Santa at UVU. After that we went to Chuck E. Cheese and played for awhile. Dinner came along and Logan had his favorites, hotdogs, mac and cheese, and peas. Then it was time for more presents and cake. It was a fun birthday.

Macy is a Star
Macy was chosen to be a star for the week, but that was the week we were all down with the flu. Well, we finally got around to getting it set up for her. Here is the video her class watched.

The Band 09
It's that time of year. The teacher talent at Dave's school. This time Dave's band played three songs. It went very well and everyone had fun. The video is a bit Dave-centric, but that's okay. Enjoy.

Halloween 09
Yeah, Halloween! Here we are searching for the perfect pumpkins!
Here's Jack, trying to figure out what's going on.
Time to gut those pumpkins. Eww, gross.

Finished Product. Can you guess whose pumpkin is whose?

And of course, we can't forget the cute costumes. Christie worked really hard on making them all beautiful and handsome.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

Toby, through the years
Most of y'all who look here probably don't know that Toby is the name of Dave's car. It's a 97 Geo Tracker 4X4 2 door convertible. Toby has gone through many changes throughout his 10 year life with Dave and this is a small picture essay chronicling this event.

Here is the original. Okay, it's not Dave's actual car, but as close as he could find to what it looked like when he bought. It was a bit prettier than this one. This look only lasted about 1-2 months before...
...some 30 x9.50 mudders were thrown on with some rims donated by Mike from his scout (I think). This only lasted for about 1-2 years before...
A hard top, 3 inches of lift, a safari rack and a new set of mudders to replace the old worn out ones. Life was good as Toby could now handle any off-road trail we could find. But...
How did Dave know he was getting old? When he realized that his mudder tires were not practical anymore. Economy and the age of 30 hit Dave. Fortunately he found a great deal on some new wheels and tires.
So that's it. After 10 years, and 60, 000 miles together, from Utah to California, from mountains to ocean side, you've been hated, you've been loved. Here's to another decade!

Zoe's 7th B-Day
A week ago, Saturday, Zoe officially turned 7. We had a big breakfast of her choosing, went swimming as a family, ate lunch at Texas Roadhouse and had some cupcakes for dessert. She had a fun day as she got a new desk, bookcase, and reading chair. A week later, Zoe had her friend party and she wanted a Hello Kitty party. We made a Hello Kitty cake, had the girls wear Hello Kitty bows, played pin the flower on the Kitty, went on a treasure hunt, hit a pinata, ate Kitty cake and opened presents. It was great fun and we are so glad that Zoe is part of our family for another year!
Bear Lake 09
For our final summer vacation we drove up to Montpelier, Idaho and stayed at the KOA. The main reason for the trip was that Dave was going to Bike the Bear with his friend Mike. It's a 50 mile bike race around Bear Lake. We figured that as long as we were heading up there, we might as well do some camping. We arrived late Friday night after school got out and set up camp. The next morning Dave was up bright and early and He and Mike completed the bike race and returned to camp. We then went to the lake and played on the sand for awhile before heading back to camp for dinner and smores. We left Sunday morning for home. It was quick trip, and we were tired, but it was worth it.
