HI

Logan's one month picture is finally posted. It is not the best picture, but it works. I know it is about ten days later than the official one month, but hey what can you do? Dave has been busy with student teaching lately and is loving it, even though it takes a lot of work. Christie has been recovering from a sinus infection and the kiddies have all been battling colds. Lots of fun, but they have finally all seemed to have passed, except the student teaching. See ya.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone. We had a good Christmas. Zoe and Macy are excited because they got matching scooters to zoom around the house with, at least until the snow melts. They both learned how to ride it fairly quickly and are quite good. Zoe also got a Leapster (think PSP or Gameboy for little kids, except the games are educational). Macy got a fur-real leopard that she loves to feed. It moves and makes sounds and Macy is in love. Mom and Dad are happy with this Christmas and we all celebrate the birth of Christ together.

Look, no hands!

Logan's Blessing

Today (Christmas Eve) Dave was able to bless little Logan. We figured that family was in town and we might as well do it while they are here. It was a great start to a wonderful Sacrament Meeting, especially on Christmas Eve. Here are some pics, hope you enjoy.

Snow!

Well we finally got a real snow storm and most of us were happy. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the snow and it was even better to share the snow with cousins from California!

Nine days till Christmas

Well, we are all doing pretty well. Dave has finished his last finals ever for his undergraduate work! He will start student teaching on Jan 8th and will be excited to get a real job and start teaching next fall. Logan and Christie and the girls are all well and happy. We went to our ward Christmas party today and Zoe sang a song with the primary kids. Santa was there and Zoe enjoyed getting her picture taken, while Macy screamed the whole time. When we got home the only thing she would say is, "I don't like Santa." It still makes us laugh.

More News

Hi All!
Well, Logan 's bilirubin scores have dropped and we can take him off of the lights! Luckily, we only had to do it for about 30 hours. Everything else is going well and now maybe that he will be in more places we can get some new pictures of him. See ya!

Update on Logan

Well, Logan is doing great except for his bilirubin scores. On Thursday he was a 10.0, on Friday he was 13.0, on Saturday he was 15.0 and today we got his score back as 18.6. We are going to have to start doing phototherapy at home and keep him under the lights. Hopefully it will only be for a day or two, because he is just too cute not to hold. Mom is doing fine and functioning quite well on very little sleep (we are trying to convince Logan that he needs to sleep at night, and not during the day). Well we will get some pictures with his eyes open or something soon for you all to see.

He's Here!

Well, a surprise to everybody, Logan David Lee came to us tonight, 5 December 2006! He is 6 lbs 11 oz. and 19.5 inches long. He is very cute and a one pound smaller than Macy and almost two pounds smaller than Zoe. Both Logan and Mom are doing fine. More pictures to come later, so check back.

Macy and Zoe in the backyard before church.

Sunday, November 12, 2006

It's been awhile

Well we have been a bit busy around, but we finally are posting again. We had a fun Halloween with the girls. Zoe went as a princess and Macy a bumble bee. We are all good and waiting for Logan to finally arrive. Dave has been busy finishing his final semester of classwork and was excited to be able to submit a fiction story and get it published. We will see the finished work, bound and in a literary journal this spring! Well have fun and see you later.
